The Daintree rainforest and Cape Tribulation
45 minutes north is the Daintree River ferry crossing, which marks the entrance to the oldest rainforest in the world. Travel along the winding road through thick rainforest until you reach Cape Tribulation where the rainforest meets the reef.

Kuranda Skyrail and Scenic Railway
Kuranda is a small village in the rainforest south of Port Douglas. Getting to and from can be an amazing experience in itself. Leaving from Cairns the Kuranda Skyrail and/or Scenic railway offer breathtaking views as they carry you over the mountain to Kuranda. Tip: go to Kuranda on the skyrail and return on the railway.
